FY 21-22 Budget Amendment Proposal

I sent the following memo via email to all members of City Council as well as Mayor Kincannon and members of the Administration. I am posting here for the public record.

Good morning Mayor, Council, and staff,
I am emailing to share a memo outlining my proposed amendment to the FY 21-22 budget. I would appreciate a second so we can discuss this amendment and ultimately I hope that you will support my request to move $400,000 from the police budget to our reserve fund until City Council is able to review the co-responder program as well as potential alternatives to the program.

If you have any questions, I will look forward to addressing them at tonight's meeting.
